Welsh rockers Frakard have shared their new single ‘Slate’. The track encapsulates an array of influences which echo the musical pulse from the late 80s and early 90s.
The band state:
“The lyrics became about that feeling of nostalgia that aches through your body when you look back on the good times that don’t really feel that long ago. We never expected this song to be a single but it’s the first song the 3 of us wrote as a complete trio. When we say trio we mean it. Equal input, opinions and soulful noise.”
Heavily drenched in those 90s vibes, especially with the vocals and musical deluge created by the guitars, Frakard’s new single is sonic wall of sound, that seems bigger than this trio has a right to create. There’s a confident swagger and attitude hidden within the mix that gives this track an infectious grounding.
