French post-hardcore quintet Fall Of Messiah have released ‘Young Pines’, the new single from their forthcoming album.
This is pretty much what you want from post hardcore, especially if you’re into the more expansive and epic stuff. There’s some soaringly powerful moments on this track, and they really nailed the video considering it is an incredibly simple concept.
In the words of vocalist-drummer Pierre: “‘ Young Pines’ represents the state of mind in which we wrote the album: Using negative situations that affect us to try and get something positive out of it. It’s how we work — trying to convey an emotion that is just, raw but without artifice.”
