“Heck Cattle Grazing” is the first work to be released by Auckland art-folk/experimental group Horror In Clay.
The group, featuring former members of popular group Girls Pissing on Girls Pissing, recorded the work with local engineer Rohan Evans and revealed the track last week with little-to-no warning except for a post on their label MUZAI Records‘ Instagram account.
The album, Horror In Clay is scheduled for a digital release June 21st 2019 though there has been little else in terms of information regarding a physical version of the album.
Those familiar with Girls Pissing on Girls Pissing may recognize the artwork for “Heck Cattle Grazing” has been undertaken by vocalist/guitarist for that project, Casey Latimer. It was Latimer’s work that led to the tarot-card deck release of the last GPOGP album, Songs of Sodomy and The Compost of Aethyr back in 2017.
Hopefully, within the next few weeks, more information comes to light. As for now, it’s another enigmatic release from the now UK based independent label.
