Jaws The Shark has shared his final single before the release of his debut album ‘Wasteland’ on the 19th of July via So Recordings. Worthy of featuring in the soundtrack of a classic cinematic Western film, ‘Last Train To Santa Fe’ starts off soft and sombre and then reaches a powerful crescendo.

Olly Bailey has explained the writing process:

“I wrote Last Train to Santa Fe after listening to a lot of Nick Cave. For some time I’d been trying to write a song that starts slow, yet is melodic and tells a story throughout. It’s a method of songwriting that I’ve not experimented much with yet in my career.”

Saving the best for last, Bailey drops a cracking vocal performance on this slow burner. But burn it does, till the guitars explode blasting the sombre mood away with some good old Jaws The Shark rock. If this doesn’t make you want to get he album, I don’t know what will.
