Track: Kenton Mackay ****** – ‘Ode To Rosie Part 1, 2 and 3’

Texan newcomer Kenton Mackay is set to make 2024 a big year. After making waves in his local music scene of Austin with his debut track ‘Golden Boy’ and the hard-hitting alt-rock single ‘Royalty Free’. He is now ready to captivate the rest of the world with his new single ‘Ode To Rosie Part 1, 2 and 3’

About the track Mackay comments:

“Ode To Rosie is self-destruction through trying to love and connect with someone who doesn’t want either. Like trying to pull a rose out of the ground and slicing your hand open on the thorns.”

Starting off as an Americana slice of rock ‘n’ roll that ends as quickly as it starts the track morphs into a more southern seasoned acoustic ballad where Mackay’s voice really shines. Building in true country style it turns into a monster of a track as the rock ‘n’ roll guitars return, beating out the tracks theme over and over to a glorious finish. Inspired brilliance.
