London’s common goldfish returns with his ever energetic, infectious, 90’s influenced sound on his latest banger ‘Low Lights and Throwback Tunes’.

Leaning on hit crunching beats, bouncing dance piano lines blended with indie sensibilities, common goldfish’s ability to blend 90’s elements with a fresh indie approach to create a sound which is both warningly nostalgic and excitingly fresh.

Progressing through common goldfish’s urgent vocal delivery with a sense of considered yet driving energy, the tracks multitude of contrasting sections, from guitar led, melancholic and considered moments evoking modern alt-pop and indie to more euphoric, pianos, arpeggiators and punching beats giving a more 90’s chill-out tone underpinned by a danceable intensity, the track is an exploration of everything that makes goldfish’s music so fascinating and original.

Speaking the track common goldfish explains: “The songs about those moments you share with your mates and that one iconic throwback tune starts blaring out the speakers. Before you know it, everyone’s up and dancing, and there’s an energy flowing through the room.”

A feverish blend between thoughtful indie and 90s club music which creates a strikingly original and enjoyable sound. Listen to the new single ‘Low Lights and Throwback Tunes’ below:
