Los Angeles alt-rocker Love Ghost once again showcases his versatility on the bedroom pop sweller ‘2YOUNG4U’. A prolific artist whose releases span pop, rock, trap, grunge, hip-hop, and the genres in between, Love Ghost’s consistent musical output, including two EPs and a number of singles already dropped through 2024, shows no signs of slowing down.
‘2YOUNG4U’ exemplifies Love Ghost’s ongoing musical evolution, blending edgy guitar riffs with melancholic vocals and infectious hip-hop beats. The track’s commercial appeal is undeniable, featuring danceable rhythms, deep sub-bass, and polished production that seamlessly combines its diverse elements into an elegant and accessible package.
The guest vocals of Andie Gago add a pop flair, especially in the second verse, before leading into the hyper-catchy second chorus and concluding with a distant, boxy guitar solo.
Discussing the single, Love Ghost shares, “I am a huge fan of Andie Gago, and writing with her was seamless even though she does not speak any English. We wanted to capture the feeling of being in love with someone who is impossible to be with… remembering that love that could have been but is no longer there.”
With more music on the horizon and Love Ghost currently working on a new album with Marilyn Manson’s guitarist and producer, Tim Skold, expect to hear much more from this talented artist in the coming months.
