Meteronomy’s fantastic 6th album “Metronome Forever” released September last year via Because Music, is still giving up its gems with the release of the next single “Whitsand Bay”
It’s an upbeat piece which wouldn’t look out of place on some of their previous albums. About the track, frontman Mount says, “This is a pivotal track between the old idea I had for the album (i.e. a more standard form 10 track piece) and what the album is now.
There is no ignoring the bass as it meanders through the song as the rest of the band follows its lead. It will take a few spins to fall for all its charms but well worth it. Electronic indie-pop that Meteronomy do so well and will sit well with their fans.
