This is a band that over the two previous releases we have covered ( the disco pop of ‘Stop for a Minute’ and the slow burning balladry of ‘No Heaven’) have applied a wide variety of colours to their canvas with the common thread of powerful vocals and shimmering, muscular instrumentation. “Whack’ shows it’s business as usual, all with an arch smile and a knowing glance.
