Tom Jenkinson, aka inventive and groundbreaking producer Squarepusher, follows up his recent 10th full length album Be Up a Hello, with a new EP Lamental, out on April 10th via Warp Records.

From the EP he’s shared ‘MIDI Sans Frontières’, originally composed as a response to the EU referendum in 2016, and he’s released his own Avec Batterie version of the track to listen to . All space-age sweeping melodies and glistening accompaniments, what really makes the track fly into your consciousness is two fold. The beautiful melancholy of the arrangement and the melodies, and the way he’s added the stuttering beats, pulling them in and out of the track to give it a heart stopping beauty about it.

Check it out, here

Squarepusher has also announce a world tour which will see him embark on an international headline tour covering Japan, America, Europe and the UK, including London’s Roundhouse on May 15th where he’ll be joined by Paranoid London, SCALPING & Ray Keith. Full dates below
