The Anchoress (aka Catherine Anne Davies) is set to release her second album ‘The Art of Losing’, on March 5th 2021 via Kscope. ‘Show Your Face’ is the first single to be taken from the album featuring guitar from Manic Street Preachers’ James Dean Bradfield (who also sings a duet on the album) and drums from Sterling Campbell (David Bowie, Duran Duran).
A disco vibe with shocks of rock guitar this track is all about that voice. Seductive on the verse and knocking walls down in the chorus. Davies carries on the long line of powerful female ladies and takes her place amongst them, rightly so.
