Dark pop artist Tizane is set to release ‘Forever Is Nothing’ the long awaited follow up to the 2021 debut album ‘Cherry’ due on the 23rd of June. Before that, Tizane shared the video for the track ‘I’m Not Her’, giving u a little glimpse of what to expect.
The album includes a song called ‘Every Minute’ which was co-written by former Mud guitarist Rob Davis who penned the Kylie Minogue hit ‘Can’t Get You Out Of My Head’. Tizane has also carved out some time to collaborate with Eater frontman Andy Blade, who’s star studded solo project is planned for a release later this year, and includes Sonic Boom Boy hit makers former Generation X guitarist Bob “Derwood” Andrews and American vocalist Elizabeth Westwood. Tizane opened recently for Eater at the Prince Albert in Brighton.
Deeply emotive and beautifully crafted. The track starts with a haunting vocal backed by a lone acoustic before morphing into a fiery rock expression of heartbreak perfectly delivered by Tizane and her band. It’s in the quiet moments where the track really hits you where the lyrics really hit “I can see the look in your eyes. When someone says her name”. Perfection.
