New York rock up and comer Totten Bridge shares the infectious new single ‘Brave New World’, a vibrant example of the singer, songwriter, producer and multi-instrumentalists diverse and unique approach an an artist.

Not content with being labeled or pigeon-holed into a specific rock genre, Totten’s sound encompasses elements of a range of genres to create a sound with a width in commercial appeal.

‘Brave New World’ is a prime example of this approach, bringing elements of alt-rock, pop, EDM and even a subtle nod to country-rock. Layering punching drums, tight overdriven guitar and subtle synth lines and dappled electronics, the single captures a driving sense of energy as well as rich musical backdrop. Topped with Totten’s catchy vocal melodies, the track balances Totten’s unique musical approach with commercial-pop elements to deliver a musically rich and high octane pop-rock anthem.

Speaking about the track, Totten explains: “‘Brave New World’ is a song about free will and having the courage to make important and sometimes difficult decisions with the thought that if you have the vision and strength to go forward with confidence the future can be extraordinary.

The track was written on an acoustic guitar in a bedroom in NYC. It was not based on the famous book but the title was inspirational for the message of the song which is about the courage to embrace change and make important decisions in life. It originally had a reggae vibe when I wrote it but it evolved into more of a rock song.”

With heaps more material on the way, Totten Bridge is a talent definitely worth keeping your eye on for the future.
