Melbourne/naarm blues-rock outfit, Willie J & The Bad Books have today released the second video from their recent Sing Sing East Studio sessions.

The song was recorded live (as seen in the clip below) and highlights the band’s signature style and the nod to the acts that provided the early Australian pub rock scene with its’ undoubted muscularity and indeed, popularity (think Billy Thorpe & The Aztecs, Coloured Balls, Rose Tattoo, Chain, AC/DC).

The prowess of this outfit is patently obvious from the video, and Ain’t No Fool is a great follow-up to the first release from the session, D.O.A. It is so reassuring to see a band carrying the flag for exciting blues-based rock & roll music. The future is bright.

Willie J & The Bad Books Are:

Fru Parsons – Drums
Matt Forge – Bass Guitar
Eileen Hodgkins – Vocals & Keys
Rick Steward – Lap Steel Guitar, Guitar & Vocals
Willie J Maxwell – Vocals & Guitar
