Its that time of year again where the city of Kilkenny is taken over by music fans from all around the world, people travel near and far for this weekend of Roots / Americana / Rockabilly and more. The weekend comprising of paid shows and a large number of free shows in numerous venues around the city.
We were eased into it on the opening day with three fantastic ticketed shows from Jesper Lindell (Billy Byrnes Bar)- Spencer Cullum (Ryan’s Bar) – Fantastic Cat ( Cleere’s Bar and Theatre) and with 8 ticketed shows today and the over night rain clearing away its set to be another great day of music here in Kilkenny city.
