A trip to Foundry Sheffield on Friday for a sold out Beabadoobee show.

Supporting were Pretty Sick, hailing from New York and signed to the same record label as tonight’s headline and notably The 1975. The band describe their music as indie Rock and they certainly impressed tonight, opening with new release ‘Heaven’ from the 2022 album release ‘Makes Me Sick Makes Me Smile’

Singer / Guitar player Sabrina Fuentes (AKA Sicky Sab) has great energy, fans lapped up a strong set closing with 7 million streamed ‘Dumb’.

Beabadoobee (AKA Beatrice Kristi Laus) needs no introduction, a huge fanbase and an impressive back catalogue for someone so young.

Kicking off a 20 song set of modern day pop anthems with ’10:36’ she has a fantastic tone to her vocals drawing you into the music. Equally as competent on guitar with charisma overflowing, no surprise that a rapid rise to fame and a world tour to support her 2022 album release ‘Beatopia’

Of note were the musically stellar band, drummer Luca and bass player Eliana held down a solid backline, and guitar player Jacob impressed.

A short solo acoustic set with ‘Coffee and ‘Ripples’, the band joined Beabadoobee back on stage and brought the show to a close with ‘Cologne’

Check out Beabadobee on all major streaming platforms, if you haven’t already you are missing out on one of the UK’s brightest talents.
