Last night at The Lord Gladstone Hotel, Postcards From Pluto delivered an electrifying set in the intimate upstairs Goodspace gallery. The evening kicked off with performances from local indie rock bands Ash Lane and Jericho, each bringing their own sound and intense energy to the cozy venue.

When Postcards From Pluto took over, they transformed the gallery into a pulsating hub of high-octane indie rock. The band—comprising vocalist Logan Kilbey, guitarist Will Palmer, bassist Kai ‘Smitty’ Holland, and drummer Josh Blythe—powered through, despite a slightly incomplete drum kit, nearly shaking the floorboards loose with their driving rhythms and spirited stage presence. Their seamless blend of alternative glam-rock matched the night’s vibe perfectly, filling the room with a raw, unfiltered energy that had the entire crowd moving, maybe even a bit too much, considering the noticeable bounce in the floorboards.

A standout moment was the powerful rendition of their absolutely charming single ‘What Do You Wear’ (Read Arun Kendalls’ exciting review here) which echoed throughout the packed room. Logan’s voice stunned the audience as he unleashed cries that could rival your favourite hardcore bands. Yet, when coupled with their indie-rock sound, it melded into something unmistakably authentic rock ‘n’ roll. The camaraderie among the band members was clear, and the sight of close friends tightly gathered in the space added a warm, wholesome touch to the evening. It was an exciting night that signals a starlit future for Postcards From Pluto.

The band have recently shared their newest single ‘COLORADO‘, including a music video, for anyone looking for a taste of their live energy.
