Reverend And The Makers, one of the more commercially successful bands to come out of Sheffield, release their fourth album ‘Thirty Two’ via Cooking Vinyl Records on 24th of February.

The follow up to 2012’s ‘@ReverendMakers’, for ‘Thirty Two’ the band have had a bit of a guiding hand from with Youth (Primal Scream, Depeche Mode, The Verve) and James Welsh to self-produce the album. Opening track ‘Detonator’ will find favor with fans of the last album whereas following numbers show a slight deviation from the previous script. That’s not to say that their sound is suffering though. Far from it. Title track ‘Your Girl’ and accompanying numbers ‘Happy Song’, ‘Old Enough To Know Better’ and ‘Play Me’ demonstrate a new found maturity. ‘Thirty Two’ is a natural progression for The Makers. It’s not as in your face as the last three long players, what we get is a calmer but equally as passionate album that fans of the band will no doubt adore.

‘Thirty Two’ already has pre-orders well higher than any of the previous offerings, and the supporting tour is selling out fast. This has not gone unnoticed by the band, and they’ve chosen a novel way to show their appreciation. 5pm every evening see’s McClure tweeting to let everyone know he’s onboard the camper van and good to go. Fans are then invited to reply to the tweet with selfies/pics of their ticket stubs or pre-order numbers. One lucky punter is chosen at random and gets a reply back that he’s on his way for no less than to perform a live set in their home.

To be in with a chance of winning an upfront and personal gig in your own front room pre-order Thirty Two from the PledgeMusic site and send a screenshot of the order to the band via either Facebook or Twitter. Winners will be picked at random and announced on social media. There’s also loads more up for grabs for those that aren’t lucky enough to score the gig – see www.reverendmakers.com for more info.
