Singer-songwriter Akhil Sahni releases the debut EP, Puzzle. The five-track project blends contemporary pop introspection with Sahni’s signature piano-driven soulfulness, aiming to solidify his reputation as a rising creative force in modern music.
Puzzle explores a wide range of sounds while staying rooted in Sahni’s trademark piano ballads. The EP delves into themes of romance, heartbreak, and the highs and lows of modern relationships, delivering moments that are both emotionally resonant and uplifting. Speaking about the project, Sahni adds: “Puzzle is a 5-track journey through the quest for a love that feels just out of reach—a search for ‘the one’ that always seems to have one missing piece of the puzzle. As modern relationships become more complex and layered with more variables than ever, you can meet the perfect person and yet still find that something’s in the way—distance, timing, family, circumstances… It’s never quite a complete picture.”
Born and raised in New Delhi and now based in London, Sahni brings his Indian roots into his global pop sensibility. Since releasing his debut single in 2021, he has steadily grown his international audience, garnering thousands of streams across multiple platforms. With Puzzle, he looks to continue that momentum, with more music expected before the end of the year.
