News: Cam Cole Channels Psychedelic Blues on New Single ‘Rabbit (She’s What I Want)’

From the streets of London to stages around the world, Cam Cole has carved out a reputation as one of the heaviest and most electrifying one-man bands performing today. With his new single ‘Rabbit (She’s What I Want)’, the first glimpse of his forthcoming fourth album Lost In Creation, due February 2026, Cole explores a kaleidoscopic fusion of psychedelic rock and slide-driven blues that feels both timeless and fresh.

Written and developed during a break after his second North American tour, ‘Rabbit (She’s What I Want)’ blends USA-style slide guitar with swirling 1960s textures, evoking the free-flowing spirit of an era defined by sonic exploration. The result is a hypnotic groove that invites listeners to switch off, drift away, and surrender to the sound.

“I was renting out this warehouse between tours to write songs and just stumbled upon this riff,” says Cole. “The chorus came about imagining the perfect woman to fall in love with. When I put it all together, suddenly this out-there combo emerged—fusing 60s psychedelic rock, The Beatles, and USA-style slide blues. I haven’t written a song like that before, and I love switching my brain off to it. I hope people can do the same—just take a break and have a breather.”

Cole’s rise has been anything but conventional. From busking on London street corners, often dodging council fines, to going viral online, he has become a global cult figure. Millions of streams later, he has played countless tours and festivals across the UK, Europe, North America, Mexico, and Australia, often selling out clubs in cities he had never visited before.

Cole appeared in the Emmy-winning series Ted Lasso, had his first U.S. tour documented in the Amazon Prime film American Mileage, and saw his track ‘Mama’ featured in Rightmove’s 2025 national campaign. Earlier this year, he also appeared on ITV’s The Chris McCausland Show, solidifying his crossover appeal.

With three albums already to his name and a relentless touring schedule, ‘Rabbit (She’s What I Want)’ signals the start of a bold new chapter for Cole.
