Rising indie-rock outfit MOSAICS have unveiled their stirring new single ‘Sing Me To Sleep’, a deeply emotive track that marks the first glimpse of their forthcoming debut EP, A Guiding Lie, set for release in 2026.
Over the past few years, the band have carved out a space in the UK’s rock landscape, blending 90s alt-rock revival with modern indie. Their sharp observational lyricism, biting guitar work, and anthemic vocal hooks have built them a reputation for crafting songs that feel both intimate and stadium-ready.
Produced by George Lloyd-Owen (assistant to Nick Cave, The Last Dinner Party, Yungblud), mixed by Luie Stylianou (Judas Priest) and mastered by Grammy winner Matt Colton (The Cure, Arctic Monkeys, Fontaines D.C.), ‘Sing Me To Sleep’ shows MOSAICS exploring a more vulnerable, cinematic side, drawing comparisons to The Goo Goo Dolls’ ‘Iris’.
Lead vocalist Owen Castillo explains: “‘Sing Me To Sleep’ was written earlier this year with an overwhelming feeling of disillusionment with life. The lyrics capture a desperate need for escape in the face of an increasing apathy towards the trappings of modernity. When Stu and I sat down to write after a couple months away, this song pretty much fell out of the sky. It’s about reaching desperately for comfort from some unarmed third person, whilst processing a deeply held sense that something is not right, and probably hasn’t been for a while.”
Guitarist and co-writer Stu adds: “In late June we piled into my car and set off from the city to record our debut EP with our close friend George Lloyd-Owen. We truly had the best time, turning off our phones and shutting the world out. These were some of the best moments we’ve ever had in the studio. Credit to George for getting the best out of us—pushing us when parts needed more flair, or just needed to serve the song differently. And thank you George for not getting frustrated when I went on tangential quests for the most ‘ethereal’ tones.”
‘Sing Me To Sleep’ follows a landmark year for MOSAICS. Their collaborative single ‘Different People’ with James McCartney drew widespread attention, building on previous TV sync placements on ITV’s This Morning, Channel 4’s Sunday Brunch, Killing Eve, Obsession, Marriage, and The Outlaws. The band have sold out multiple headline shows, including a standout performance at Camden Assembly, reached the finals of the Isle of Wight New Blood competition against 5,000 artists, and completed a sold-out UK tour with Reverend and the Makers.
The new single channels the precarity and emotional turbulence of young adulthood. With nods to Feeder and Radiohead, Castillo and Stu combine poetic lyrics with driving rhythms and soaring shoegaze-inspired guitar work to capture a sense of wistfulness both personal and generational.
With ‘Sing Me To Sleep’ as the first taste of A Guiding Lie, MOSAICS enter a new chapter defined by ambition, vulnerability, and a sound built for larger stages.
