My Autumn Amor, the indie-rock sensation, is back with a much-awaited EP, ‘Mermaid Blood.’ This five-track collection showcases the artist’s unique ability to blend heartfelt lyricism with captivating musical arrangements, promising a deeply personal and emotionally resonant listening experience.

‘Mermaid Blood’ sees My Autumn Amor returning to the spotlight with a collection of alternative, indie-rock masterpieces. These tracks explore the intensity of love and grief, themes drawn from his time writing the original soundtrack and performing in Anton Chekhov’s play ‘Uncle Vanya.’ The EP reflects the complex emotions depicted in Chekhov’s work, creating a profound connection between literary and musical artistry.

In this latest offering, My Autumn Amor solidifies his reputation as a visionary in the contemporary rock scene. The EP is an adventurous exploration of his multifaceted creative vision, blending raw alternative rock energy with his distinct artistic flair. Recorded and produced in his bedroom studio, ‘Mermaid Blood’ is a testament to his dedication to authentic and compelling music-making.

The songs on ‘Mermaid Blood’ range from intimate acoustic moments to powerful, high-energy tracks, offering a varied and engaging listening experience. This EP demonstrates My Autumn Amor’s ability to push the boundaries of the alternative, indie-rock genre, creating music that resonates deeply with listeners. His thoughtful compositions and evocative storytelling provide a vivid and immersive sonic journey.

My Autumn Amor shared his thoughts on the release, saying, “’Mermaid Blood,’ the song and album, was inspired by my appearance in Anton Chekhov’s play ‘Uncle Vanya’ a couple of months ago. I also created the original score for the theatrical production.” This connection to the play adds a layer of depth to the EP, enriching the emotional and narrative complexity of the music.

Beyond his musical achievements, My Autumn Amor continues to make an impact through his advocacy work. Last year, he debuted his first movie, ‘Believe In Yourself,’ on Amazon Prime. The film, which won several awards during its independent film festival run, highlights his journey from an abuse survivor and homeless teenager to achieving Top 40 song rotation. He remains an active member of the UNICEF Guardian Circle, with a portion of sales from his work going to the UNICEF children’s fund. My Autumn Amor is dedicated to helping provide lifesaving food and medicine to children in war and disaster zones, using his platform to bring attention to the homeless crisis in America.

As ‘Mermaid Blood’ hits the airwaves, fans of alternative indie-rock and new listeners alike will find much to appreciate in My Autumn Amor’s latest release. This EP not only showcases his artistic growth but also reaffirms his commitment to creating music that leaves a lasting emotional impact. Get ready for an intimate and visually stunning musical experience from one of the most passionate musicians of the new rock age.
