Peggy Gou will curate London’s Old Royal Naval College on 2 August 2026 for a one-day, open-air event on the Thames, presented in collaboration with Labyrinth Events. Set within the UNESCO World Heritage site, the show marks Gou’s exclusive UK appearance of the summer, framed by a bespoke production designed for the riverside setting.
The announcement follows a run of high-profile dates across Australia, including a sold-out night at Carriageworks and a closing set at the Australian Open. Backseat Mafia caught Gou in Sydney recently, where her command of a packed room underscored the clarity and control that define her sets, even at their most expansive.
With major tour commitments across the USA and South America already locked in, Gou’s London return is deliberately singular. The city remains central to her story: she moved there to study, absorbed the after-hours lessons of Plastic People, and developed an approach that balances dance music’s lineage with a distinctly contemporary sensibility. That perspective shapes this event, which runs from afternoon into night, allowing the setting to evolve alongside the music.
The handpicked lineup reflects Gou’s ear for momentum rather than maximalism. UK duo Prospa bring focused, high-energy club pressure; MPH leans into new-wave UK garage; and Kelly Lee Owens rounds out the bill with her measured blend of techno and pop. It’s a program built for flow, not spectacle.
More than a headline slot, the day on the Thames reads as a considered statement: a return to a city that shaped Gou’s musical outlook, staged in a location that foregrounds space, sound and time. London gets one date, and it’s designed to last.
