Glaswegian five-piece wojtek the bear make their return today, more than a year after releasing most recent EP old names for new shapes, and they’ve certainly been busy. They announced their forthcoming second album a little while back, and you can now listen to its opening track and lead single ‘ferme la bouche’, which, per the band, is “basically about being in a toxic relationship, be that with someone who is being physically or verbally abusive or just isn’t right for you and how often our first instinct is often to blame ourselves rather than the other person or look for the faults within first.”
Their new record, heaven by the back door, follows up their wonderful 2018 debut a talent for being unreasonable and is out Friday July 16th via Last Night From Glasgow.
