Emerging from the vibrant London music scene, Yasmin Dyer has released her latest sultry single, ‘Where I Belong’. This new track seamlessly blends a warm and natural sound with sleek vocal performances and steady rhythms, following the shimmering emotion of her previous single ‘Disappointed’ and the twilight pulse of ‘Demons’.

‘Where I Belong’ leans into bright chords, creating a comforting ensemble of piano, oscillating strings, and laid-back, slightly swung drums. Yasmin’s vocals shine brightly, softly soaring through gorgeous lead melodies and diving into wholehearted lyricism, laced with a deep and connecting love. Her voice is decorated with angelic harmonic arrangements, adding a feeling of richness that resonates into a kaleidoscope of passion.

Reflecting on the inspiration behind her new release, Yasmin shared, “Having had a period of instability, this song came at an ideal time as I found my comfort and home within someone. This song has really helped me and I hope it can be someone else’s safe place too!”

Already catching the ears of UK tastemakers with her effervescent blend of heartfelt R&B, Yasmin Dyer’s initial string of singles has earned her a spot as ‘Track of the Week’ on BBC Introducing. With her debut EP Where I Belong set for release in May, Yasmin has begun 2024 with an impressive trajectory, bringing her smooth drums and soulful production to the world. Built on intimate, personable lyrics, her sound feels real and authentic, offering an escape from the day-to-day life.

As Yasmin Dyer continues to rise, her music promises to provide a comforting and heartfelt experience, cementing her place as a notable artist to watch in the coming year.
