Today, rising Brighton band Lime Garden cap off months of anticipation by releasing their debut album – as cohesive and confident an opening statement as you’re likely to hear this year. Having recently supported Bombay Bicycle Club, the quintet are gearing up for their own headline run in support of the aforementioned debut album, One More Thing.
To coincide with its release, the band ha e given us a look at the video for flagship single ‘Pop Star’, a song which encapsulates the artistic spirit of the record, one which Lime Garden hope to use as inspiration for fans and future musicians themselves: When we first started out, we’d be the only girls in any venue – and most of the time we still are. You don’t have to be this extraordinary person to make something that really connects with people. We want young girls to watch us and hopefully think, ‘Maybe I can be in a band’, because we never ever had that.”
