We are very proud to premiere the blistering new single – the incredible challenging to type ‘tHe AnTi SuNcReAm LeAGuE’ – from Swansea band Baby Schillaci, ahead of its general release on 9 August 2024.

‘tHe AnTi SuNcReAm LeAGuE’ is a a visceral wall of satisfying squall, a swaggering jolt of electricity that acts like a defibrillator with its stabbing rhythms and exhortations. It is like a collision between The Fall, Fugazi, Idles and a runaway freight train, all put in a blender then exploded in a nuclear bomb. It’s wild, unhinged and very, very cathartic, ending in a orchestrated collapse and fade out. This is not for the faint of heart, but who cares for the faint of heart?

Tom from the band has this to say about the track:

I was having a bad day, lost & trawling through motivational memes and ted talk tweets… So I wrote a song about idiots. It’s kind of an Anarchist’s cookbook rebut to Baz Luhrmann’s Sunscreen.

This is post punk punk delivered like an unguided missile with a satisfying brute force:

‘tHe AnTi SuNcReAm LeAGuE’ is out on 9 August and will be available to download and stream via all the usual places and here. Baby Schillaci are set to release their debut album ‘THE SOUNDTRACK’ in 2024.
