“It was never a finished work,” Will Toledo aka Car Seat Headrest says of his 2011 Bandcamp album Twin Fantasy, “and it wasn’t until last year that I figured out how to finish it.” With the success he’s had over the last year, he’s now tackled the record again, re-recorded and re-imagined it, and it is due to come out on February 16th via Matador records.

He’s released a new self directed video for the track, which is a way away from the original, with sweeping synth lines and his vocal higher, and clearer. Essentially its all the originals charm and wit, but its just spruced up and souped up for the occasion.
Check it out, below.

With a seven-piece band in tow (including members of Naked Giants), Car Seat Headrest will bring its explosive and revelatory live show to Australia, Europe – including a May UK tour and biggest headline show to date at London’s Roundhouse – and select West Coast cities through the first half of 2018, with a full US tour to be announced at a later date. Current tour dates can be found below.
