Temples have announced details of their new, third abum. Called Hot Motion its out via ATO Records on 27th September, and from it the band have released a new video for the albums title track.
According to the band, Hot Motion is a song about ‘the tensions of desire, dreams and nightmares’, which it very well may be, but it’s all wrapped up in this sweeping, hypnotic slice of psych pop/rock where pulsating beats and desperately attractive chorus’ and hooks are the order of the day. And who can resist those? Well, not us.
Check out the accompanying video, which sees the band performing the track in the shadows of the sun. Well, some orange lighting. It’s uber cool though.
The band have also announced an acomapnying tour to the album, taking place later in the year, after a handful of festival appearances over the Summer. Full details below.
