See: Dude York reveal new video for Box

We’re beginning to fall in love with Seattle pop punks Dude York, ahead of their album ‘Falling’ out via Hardly Art on July 26th.

Vocalist Peter Richards says the song is about adolescent disappointment and the emotional solipsism that can follow. While that may seem heavy, the music isn’t, this sort of messy Killers, all big tunes and this frayed guitar sounds, with Richards imploring over the top, but delivering something that both catchy and emotive

Of the video, Richards says the band “reached out to friends in the Seattle arts community and [dancer] Samie Detzer, [choreographer] Alice Ghosti, [director] Jared Caldwell, and the Washington Ensemble Theater answered with resounding support.”
