It marks their first release in two years, promising more to come from the multi-platinum duo, and is absolutely the best, jouyous slice of indie/synth pop to hit your ears for…..well, whenever.
‘Crybaby’ is a delightful blend of Motown like hooks and torch song vibes, with a chorus that hits you right in the kisser with the weight of its infectious melodies. It’s classic Cults—drenched in synths and lovable from the first note. Throw in some twangy guitars, bells, and a whole array of sonic surprises, and you’ve got something fairly special on your hands.
