Twenty two year old George Alice who hails from South Australia has just released a new track, ‘Healed’. This is her first piece of new music since she returned from international song-writing trips to Los Angeles and London.

“‘Healed’ I feel is the first step into the new George Alice universe. After finding my feet a little more within my career this allowed me space to explore fun styles I’ve always wanted to experiment with and match the energy of music I listen to. With Pink Pantheress being such a big reference for a lot of artists at the moment I wanted to incorporate that fun energy into a slow piano ballad about heartbreak.”

‘Healed’ is funky and beat-filled it’s a warm and welcoming embrace that is fun and fresh despite being about a break up.

The last few years have been a wild ride for George Alice. In 2019 at just 16 years old she was quickly thrown onto the Australian music stage having won triple j’s Unearthed High Competition for her debut single ‘Circles’. Since then she has gone on to sign a global record deal with US taste maker label Loma Vista Recordings (Denzel Curry, GHOST, Soccer Mommy) released an EP ‘Growing Pains’ that has clocked over 40 million streams. She has also performed headline shows across the country as well as supporting the likes of Yungblud, Vera Blue, The Veronicas and played major Festivals such as Laneway, Vintage Vibes, Rolling Sets and SummerSalt.

Fans are in for a treat because George Alice is currently supporting King Stingray on their national tour.

“I’m super excited to be headed on tour with King Stingray this June and July. I’m such a fan of their work so to be sharing the stage with them all over the country is a huge honour.”
