After a good few years of hard work Katy J Pearson is pleased to announce the news of her debut album, ‘Return’, which will be released on November 13th, 2020 via Heavenly Recordings. In celebration Pearson has also shared the addictive new track ‘Fix Me Up’ and its accompanying video.

Speaking about about the track Katy said: “Quite an old song now, but it’s still very special to me! It’s very personal and is really about wanting independence in life after messy situations. In times of darkness feeling that pang of loneliness; wanting someone else to be there to help you put all the pieces back together – which I’m sure is something we can all relate too.”
She added about the video: “This video was such a joy to make, and Cher (the horse) is an absolute queen! It was such a beautiful two days filming; Gordano riding school was so so wonderful. Thanks for letting me live out my cow girl dream!”

Quick strummed guitar and sugar sweet voice make this a dreamy country tinged pop. Her singing in particular is a highlight. You can tell theres been a lot of work behind this track and not just natural talent. Katy has put the work in to create a track with thoughtful lyrics and masterful chord changes. The track should come with a warning as the chorus will be stuck in your head for weeks.
