NEWS: Live-stream shows from And You Will Know Us By The Trail Of Dead: UK ‘date’ this Friday

FACED by the reality that any chance of getting some gigs under their belt for 2020 was vanishing like a mirage, Austin, TX guitar deities …And You Will Know Us by the Trail of Dead have gone some way to assuaging our collective need by announcing a trio of live-stream shows, with a date especially for the UK and Europe to begin at 8pm UK and 9pm Central European Time this Friday, August 7th.

The band released their tenth studio set, X: The Godless Void and Other Stories earlier this year and had arranged a year on tour not only to promote the storming new set, but also to celebrate the band’s quarter-century. We need not delve much further into what laid wrack and ruin to those best-laid plans.

Dusting themselves down, …Trail of Dead will present a unique one-hour set built around requests by fans for a handful of tracks rarely played live, if at all; and of course, some classic live favourites.

The first, American date was held last Friday, July 31st, from which 20% of ticket sales realised were to go to the venues they would have played this year.

To get tickets for this Friday’s show for the UK and Europe, visit  www.trailofdead.com/livestream. There’ll also be exclusive merch.

The final show of the round of three, to be held on August 14th, will see a 20% donation going to a group of US independent record stores, including all 34 of the Coalition of Independent Music Stores End Of An Era in Austin, Texas; Luna Music in Indianapolis; Young Ones in Kutztown, Philadelphia and Daddy Kool in St Petersburg, Florida.
