Although ‘Dreams’ is technically a debut single, there’s experienced hands at work with psych supergroup L’Epee, aka Emmanuelle Seigner (Ultra Orange & Emmanuelle), Anton Newcome (The Brian Jonestown Massacre) and Lional + Marie Limiñana (The Limiñanas).
It’s forge in this 60’s alt rock feel, all stabby guitars and harking back to an era (a classic one nevertheless) when drummers had tambourines on their high hat stands to hit (I know, where did that go). Featuring slinky french Bardot-isms from Seigner and this mind-bending guitar solo, what makes it SO good (and it is) are these incredible backing vocals and killer melodies.
