Lost Like Lions, the Alternative Rock band from Buffalo, New York are about to release a brand new ep, ‘The Devil That You Know’ on Friday June 12th. They’ve recently dropped the first single ‘Enemies’ ahead of the ep release, on various listening platforms, including Itunes and Spotify.
Easily the best use of alliteration in a band name, Lost Like Lions blend a fuzzy alternative-rock sound, reminiscent of mid 90s era Fountains of Wayne and noisier US bands like Gaunt with a fair few nods to Pop-Punk. This band craft their tunes such as ‘Enemies’ with a eye on harmonies and pop-hooks. The band are tight musically and demonstrate a creative flair for melody and songwriting. Lost Like Lions stand out with distinctive and powerful vocals and haunting lyrics, once you scratch the surface.
With a rousing and memorable chorus, ‘Enemies’ is emotional, nostalgic, rousing and rocking. It’s the perfect addition to an Alternative Summer Soundtrack.
