Lady Bird are purveyors of a fresh new punk/grime sound, coming out of Kent, the three piece are set to releases their latest EP ‘BRAINWASH MACHINE SETTING’, out June 26th via Purple Stains/ JägerMusik

This latest release drags punk well into the here and now, Wonk Unit meets Mike Skinner is as good an analogy as any. This video is for a song that musically stands above the crowd, and when it comes to DIY music, it’s as slick as any mainstream release, and yet still feels stripped back and pure, a whimsically filled song of rebellion and freedom.

Detailing their newest effort, the upstarts revealed: “What does a war and a web have in common? Who wants to be caught in one? Why ask? This song likes to tickle the Queen bee’s feet whilst sharing thoughts and observations about her beautiful hive and obedient colony. The Wicked War of the West tells “slippery stories and…tales” of familiar and somewhat fictional concepts via a punk pop rock rock banger”.

Lady Bird’s ‘WWW’ is out May 14th via the band’s own label Purple Stains as a joint venture with JägerMusik and will be available across all digital platforms.
