Swedish metal titans SABATON are set to make history this September, returning to Australian stages for their first headline tour since blowing fans away at Good Things Festival 2022. The powerhouse tour kicks off on Wednesday 3 September in Perth, before hitting Adelaide, Melbourne, Sydney, and Brisbane, and wrapping up on Tuesday 9 September in Auckland. Fellow Swedes and modern metal trailblazers AMARANTHE will join them as special guests across the Australian dates.

Celebrated for their blistering riffs, anthemic choruses and battlefield-inspired storytelling, SABATON have spent over 25 years dominating the metal world. With ten studio albums, numerous Top 10 international chart placements, and over three billion streams to their name, the band’s impact is as undeniable as their ferocious live shows, famed for their immersive, theatrical energy.

SABATON have dropped a brand new single, ‘Templars’, the first taste of their forthcoming album. A towering epic steeped in the legend of the Knights Templar, the accompanying video was shot at two historic Serbian fortresses, featuring dramatic battle scenes and a standout performance by returning guitarist Thobbe Englund.

Known for their genre-blending sonic attack, AMARANTHE return to Australia after their debut visit in 2024, riding high on the success of their latest album The Catalyst.

With SABATON’s bombastic new era underway and AMARANTHE in unstoppable form, Australian metal fans are in for an unforgettable September.

Stream ‘Templars’ HERE.
