The Cinematic Orchestra – now comprising of founder Jason Swinscoe and long-time collaborator Dominic Smith last release “To Believe” dropped on 15th March 2019 on Ninja Tune with widespread acclaim. Their new album “To Believe Remixes” is is a carefully curated collection of tracks – featuring remixes and re-works made by some of The Cinematic Orchestra’s favourite producers and artists. The band commenting “It’s one of the greatest privileges of a musician to invite artists who have inspired you to re-imagine your work”
The first track taking from the remix album is “Zero One/This Fantasy (feat. Grey Reverend)” An expansive shifting and mesmerising piece of synths and percussion. Reappearance of loops and stop starting of drum passages creates a 6 minutes hypnotic soundscape. For fans of Bonobo and downtempo jazz.
