Welsh risers Worldcub unveil the fizzing new single ‘Exploding!’. Marking their first new material since 2024’s acclaimed album Back To The Beginning, this latest track delivers an electrifying glimpse into the band’s next chapter.
Brimming with a bubbling, infectious energy, ‘Exploding!’ blends a psychedelic, ’60s-inspired floatiness with an irresistible buoyancy, driven by a stomping rhythm (and heady cowbell), fuzzy guitar work, and prog-infused synth flourishes. With its distant yet hook-laden lead vocal, the track hypnotically cycles through its repeating riff, subtly evolving to maintain momentum.

“The idea came from a rehearsal where Cynyr was experimenting with a fuzzier guitar sound. Lyrically, it stemmed from what was dominating the news that night—on TV and especially on social media. That relentless tension, always in your pocket, can desensitize people over time, and that paradox shaped the track’s theme.”
