Doing it yourself has always been an ethos worth following by Punk bands, and certainly London space-punk quartet CuT have immersed themselves in it. Out on July 28th is their new single, Lets Go, and its certainly an intoxicating blend of Ramones style DIY adrenelin fuelled punk rock, heavy fuzz, and immediately singable pop melodies. Amongst the bands armoury a handclaps, immediate riffs and and gorgeously elastic sounding bass.

Produced by Joe Foster of Creation Records fame, its a slight change in direction from last single, the surf punk stylings of Time Traveller, and ‘Let’s Go’ has already attracted the attention of both Radio 1 and 6music. Let’s Go’ will be released on strictly limited edition 12” vinyl and for digital download on Ra-Ra Rok Records on July 28th. Pre-orders are available from http://cuttheband.bandcamp.com/now
