Speaking about the single, he explains, “I have been waiting for the right time to begin this new era of music. With the world becoming increasingly dark and us all feeling more separated from one another, the time is now. I wanted to write music that meets us where we are in these moments of grief, anger, resentment, and isolation. Frozen Hearts is not a breakup song. It’s looking at the world around us and realising that, to move forward, we need to sit with these strong emotions long enough to strike the match to warm our own hearts.”
