St Vincent has released the lead single ‘Broken Man’ off her upcoming seventh studio album, ‘All Born Screaming’, which will be released on 26 April.

Dave Grohl contributed guitars and drumming on ‘Broken Man’ which together encapsulate a feeling of destruction, a theme that echoes throughout the album. The song is accompanied by a striking video featuring St. Vincent as the debilitated antagonist, portraying a character unhinged by loss and lust, ultimately consumed by flames.

St. Vincent (Ann Erin Clark,) a 3-time Grammy winner, boasts 4.4 million monthly listeners and is known for her collaboration on ‘Rosyln’ with Bon Iver, which has garnered 416 million streams.

She has been recognized as one of the best guitarists of the 21st century by multiple publications, with Rolling Stone naming her the 26th-greatest guitarist of all time in 2023.

Her fourth studio album, St. Vincent (2014), was highly praised by critics and named album of the year by Slant Magazine, NME, The Guardian, and Entertainment Weekly.

Additionally, St. Vincent produced Sleater-Kinney’s 2019 album The Center Won’t Hold and co-wrote Taylor Swift’s Billboard Hot 100 number-one single “Cruel Summer.”
