Tamara Kramar continues to captivate audiences with her latest single, ‘Sunflower’, the third single to be taken from her upcoming new EP, Make It Poetic.
Already recognised by Forbes Slovakia as one of their 30 Under 30 and awarded an ambassador position for Spotify’s EQUAL campaign, Tamara Kramar is making significant waves.
‘Sunflower’ is a mesmerizing showcase of Tamara’s immense talent, delicately weaving gentle bossa nova rhythms into an experimental pop landscape. The track envelops listeners in elegant layers of honey-soaked vocals, guiding them through infectious hooks into a vast, intricate instrumental arrangement. Featuring piano, drums, bass, and flute, each element streams with a light, airy quality that complements Tamara’s vocal delivery perfectly.
The single includes contributions from notable musicians such as German drummer Nicholas Stampf, who spent the past year touring with Nick Hakim, and London-based flautist Rūta Sīpola, along with the rest of Tamara’s band from Slovakia.
Tamara explains: “Writing ‘Sunflower’ was like a therapy session, I got out exactly what I needed to after a little almost-love affair last summer! I am excited about this one, it feels like summer with a hint of melancholy.”
Tamara Kramar’s debut EP, Bachelor Of Science, earned her a Radio_Head Award in the Discovery of the Year category, marking her as an artist to watch. With Make It Poetic, she continues to showcase her growth and mastery of jazz-influenced soul-pop sounds.
