Talk In Tongues are unapologetically psychedelic. The release of the video for “While Everyone Was Waiting” is a fine excuse to listen to this track again. It struts in on the back of a funky baseline, adds layers of feedback and then swirls off into more interesting places before ending in what I think can legitimately be called a “wig-out”. Meanwhile, in true psychedelic tradition, the video makes your eyes go funny.
