As Wellington singer-songwrier Grayson Gilmour stock continues to grow following the release of his recent album Otherness, he’s donated (is that the right word?) penultimate track to Canadian independent label Kingfisher Bluez, who have pressed it up on to a limited run of 7″ as part of their singles club. Made in conjunction with New Zealand’s influential Flying Nun SILICON, aka Kody Nielson (Mint Chicks, Opossom) has remixed the track on the flip side.
He’s transformed the track from a moody slow burner, to a warm dance track, bathed in 808 clasps and synths, with its wound up BPM taking from the bedroom to the edge of the dancefloor.
