Sydney-based I Know Leopard have released a new track ‘Nothing Is Real’, which was co-produced and mixed by Dave Hammer (Genesis Owusu, Lime Cordiale.) To launch the single the band will play November shows in Sydney and Melbourne.

According to lead vocalist Luke O’Loughlin, “Nothing is Real somehow surfaced from a long-neglected demo pile of nearly two years ago!” The track evolved to include O’Loughlin’s lyrics which he wrote to help process the distressing global upheavals of the Iast few years.

“I often feel like there is this bizarre dissociation that occurs amidst all the disturbing events that are happening on our planet right now. It’s like we view the world around us through a fictional lens when it suits us, as a coping mechanism I suppose.”

Luke O’Loughlin

I Know Leopard are currently supporting Spacey Jane on their nationwide tour and Backseat Mafia was at the third of three sold out Sydney shows. View the Gallery from I Know Leopard’s show at the Big Top, Luna Park below.
