Premiered on triple j Drive this week, the track marks a stylistic shift while retaining the emotive clarity that has defined Lambert’s catalogue to date. Produced by Tentendo and Khaled Rohaim—whose production credits include work with Rihanna, Juice WRLD, and The Kid LAROI—‘Blame It On Me’ balances contemporary R&B production with a stripped-back emotional focus.
Lambert has steadily built a following through a mix of streaming success—amassing over 250 million streams to date—and support from platforms like triple j, BBC Radio 1Xtra, and Spotify’s EQUAL campaign, which saw her featured on a Times Square billboard. Her past singles, including ‘You’re Still Mine’ and ‘Cardio’, positioned her as a rising voice in Australian R&B, bridging local and international influences with understated precision.
In 2024–2025, Lambert completed her debut headline tour across Australia and New Zealand, with shows selling out nationally. She also performed in Shanghai, marking her first live appearance in China, and is set to return to the stage at Spilt Milk Ballarat in December.
Alongside support slots for Kehlani and media features in Rolling Stone, and others, Lambert’s trajectory suggests an artist growing into her own space. I Think This is an EP will be her first full release since a string of stand-alone singles, and, based on its lead track, suggests a cohesive body of work grounded in lyrical introspection and refined sonic detail.
