News: Will Foulke Shares New Single ‘Fresh Air’

Rising producer, singer-songwriter, and guitarist Will Foulke returns with ‘Fresh Air,’ an upbeat, funk-infused new single that captures the raw energy and musical confidence of one of modern blues-inspired songwriting’s most promising young voices.

Since first stepping onto the scene in 2021 with his debut release ‘No Going Back,’ Foulke has steadily carved out a reputation for pairing technical guitar prowess with thoughtful, emotionally grounded storytelling. His 2022 EP Mystic, alongside a string of well-received singles, helped him cultivate a growing global fanbase, earning tens of thousands of listens and pushing his Spotify streaming total past 180,000.

Written and produced at Truphonic Studios in Charleston, South Carolina, ‘Fresh Air’ marks a clear evolution in Foulke’s sound. The track blends infectious funk grooves with blues-rooted guitar work and pop-forward melodies, resulting in a song that feels unfiltered and alive. Driven by a tight rhythm section and expressive guitar lines, the single carries a sense of momentum that mirrors its title – capturing themes of movement, release, and reclaiming clarity, both musically and emotionally.

Foulke’s musical journey began at age 12, when he received his first acoustic guitar and immersed himself in the music of Jimi Hendrix and Stevie Ray Vaughan. While those influences remain evident in his playing, ‘Fresh Air’ also highlights a growing melodic sensibility inspired by artists such as Stevie Wonder and Paul McCartney. The result is an artist increasingly comfortable blurring genre boundaries while staying rooted in the traditions that shaped him.

After six years of honing his craft, releasing two albums, and refining a distinct pop/rock/blues hybrid sound, Will Foulke is entering a new chapter—one defined by confidence, groove, and creative freedom. ‘Fresh Air’ stands as both a celebration of that growth and an open invitation for listeners to experience an artist hitting his stride.
