Vienna-based Tin Man Falls return with a new video for the alluring, atmospheric and musically rich new single ‘Black To Grey’. We’re excited to be running the premiere!

An indie electronic project led by singer Joseph Robinson in collaboration with producer Felipe Scolfaro Crema and multi-instrumentalist Edo Mjusik, Tin Man Falls have already established themselves as ones to watch following the release of their debut ‘Beats On The Bottom’. The second single ‘Black To Grey’ continues to showcase the collective’s unique indie-electronic soundscapes.

Choppy plucked acoustic and electric guitars are surrounded by tight beats and growling synth bass, creating an atmospheric and thoughtful soundscape with some beautiful ideas and splashes of tastefully placed dappled electronics. Topped with Joseph’s silky, delicate and melancholic lead vocals, the track captures an intensity and mesmerising aura. Comparable to the likes of Chet Faker, Atoms For Peace and Mansionair, Tin Man Falls showcase a strikingly impactful and complete sound.

Talking about the meaning behind the single, Joseph shares: “This song is about not getting trapped in who you think you are or how things should be. It’s about opening up to change and the ambiguity that brings.”

Accompanied by a simplistic yet aptly atmospheric and polished video reminiscent of Radiohead’s ‘Lotus Flower’, the collective showcase the already fully formed nature of the project and demonstrate what an exciting up and coming talent they are.
